Who operates Greylight
Edra Grey operates Greylight as a managed content service and a restricted client workspace. We use it to research, prepare and review work for connected businesses. Public visitors can request a consultation; client workspaces require authorized access.
Information we process
Consultation requests contain your email address. Workspace records can include your name, business details, brand instructions, conversations, uploaded files and media, research sources, drafts, approvals and activity history. When you enable an integration, we process the account identifiers, authorization data and service records needed for that connection. Connected email features can process messages and contact details; outreach research can contain business contact information from supplied or public sources.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to enquiries, provide access, maintain business context, research and prepare content, support review, and carry out approved delivery or other configured workflows. Connected search, social and advertising accounts may supply performance data for reports. Human review is required before publication or spending; approved, scheduled actions can run at their agreed time.
Providers and processing
Greylight uses Vercel for hosting and media storage, Neon for database storage, and configured AI providers through Vercel AI Gateway to process the context needed for a request. Connected features may use Google Search Console, Meta, Postiz, Notion, GitHub, email providers and research services such as DataForSEO. Enabled product analytics and error reporting can process usage events. Providers receive the information needed for their feature; their own processing terms also apply. We do not sell client workspace data.
Credentials and access
Access is restricted by owner authentication and project-scoped client sessions. Native publishing credentials are held in server configuration; some integration credentials are encrypted in storage. Authorized providers also manage their own connection credentials. Client login tokens expire and access can be revoked. Do not submit passwords or other secrets in chat or research notes.
Retention and removal
Workspace content and history remain available while needed to operate the service and preserve client work. There is no universal automatic expiry for every record. Ask us to export, correct or remove your information, or to close a workspace. We will confirm the scope and any records that must remain for an applicable obligation; backups and external providers can have separate retention periods. Deleting a Greylight draft does not remove a post already published on another platform.
Connected accounts and Meta data
You can revoke provider access in that provider’s account settings. Revocation prevents further authorized access but does not automatically erase existing Greylight records or previously published content. Meta connections are used for the connected business accounts’ approved publishing, account setup and enabled reporting or advertising features. To request removal of associated Meta data from Greylight, contact us below.
Cookies and preferences
Authentication cookies maintain your session. Browser storage remembers preferences such as language and appearance. Connected integrations may require their own authorization cookies. Ask us for details about the analytics configuration used for your workspace.
